The Windsor Ski & Snowboard Club (WSSC) is a not-for-profit membership club for fun-loving, sports-minded people who share a love for winter activities. The Club has been in existence since the early 1960’s when it was started by Tony Wachna. We offer ski trips, social events, and monthly meetings September through May each year. We are proud members of the Metro Detroit Ski Council (MDSC).
The WSSC organizes a fully planned ski/snowboard trip each season to a major resort within Canada or the United States. In addition to the weeklong trip, we offer several 3-day getaways to smaller mountains within driving distance. Over the years we have accumulated a wealth of knowledge, expertise and ski industry contacts enabling us to find great values for our members.
If you are like minded and enjoy winter sports, travel, and social activities while growing great friendships in the process, please join us on Thursday September 14th for the first meeting of the 2023/2024 ski season. Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. the second Thursday of each month at the Walkerville. Eatery, 911 Walker Road, Windsor. Singles, couples, and families are all welcome.
